TICKETS TO STRICTLY COME DANCING LIVE IN 2009
Following on from the hugely successful sell out 2008 live tour, shows for 2009 are now on sale!
Audiences across the country will get the chance to join celebrities, dance champions and those all important judges for the arena extravaganza
STRICTLY COME DANCING LIVE!
Strictly Come Dancing Live will see eight well-known faces from the worlds of entertainment and sport pack up their gowns and dance shoes as they once again turn celebrity dance contestants, competing for the votes of the thousands in the arena audiences. Celebrities, judges and your host will be confirmed at a later date.
The shows will pit the celebrities and their partners against the judges. The judges will of course deliver their analyses with their famous wit and wisdom!
The format of the show (tbc) ....There will be two 45 minute sections with a 20 min interval in-between. First half celebs dance. Then the audience text to choose their winner.
Second half is group dancing and some professionals doing their thing! Then at the end the winner is announced
Venues confirmed so far are
Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Glasgow,Sheffield.

TRAVEL INFO
Directions
Sheffield Hallam FM Arena is approx 3 miles out of the city centre just off Broughton Lane A6102 & Attercliffe Common A6178. It is close to M1 Junctions 33 & 34, & has it's own Supertram stop linking the venue to Sheffield Railway Station, Meadowhall Shopping Centre Station and various Park & Ride locations
By Train:Sheffield Intercity is three miles from the arena. Get a taxi or the Supertram from the station, or catch a bus from bus station which is opposite.
Meadowhall rail & tram interchange serves local train stations on the Doncaster/Leeds mainline & on the Barnsley branch line. The Supertram runs from Meadowhall to the venue stop.
Sheffield Parkway station has a park & ride facility to the venue
By Tram: The Arena has its own Supertram stop, with park and ride facilities at all main entries to the city. More information and timetables can be found at www.supertram.com. Trams run approximately every ten minutes from 06:00 until midnight.
By Bus:Routes 17, 69, 130, 208, 209, 210, 287, 424, X2, X5, X40,X69 and X73 all pass close to the venue. Check routes before traveling. Many Bus services terminate at Meadowhall & the City Bus Station - connect to the Supertram from there.
By Car:From The North - Leave the M1 at Junction 34, signed Sheffield A6109 (Meadowhall). Take the fourth exit from the roundabout signed Sheffield Centre. Follow signs for Sheffield Centre (A6109) for 1.5 miles and then turn left following signs to the Ring Road A6102. Hallam FM Arena is located on the right.
From The South - Leave the M1 at Junction 33. Take the first exit at the roundabout on to the A630 (Sheffield). Continue for 2.5 miles until the exit marked Ring Road (services). Follow signs for the ring Road straight over a small roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout onto the Ring Road/Meadowhall (A6178). Follow this road for 2 miles to Hallam FM Arena, which is located on the left.
Car Parking:There is a large car park on site with capacity for 1300 cars with an overflow facility for an additional 800 within 5 minutes of the venue. Parking is on a first come first served basis & is payable upon entrance.
On Street parking around the venue is very limited
Park and Ride facilities are available from the train station at Meadowhall Shopping Centre and off the Sheffield Parkway (A630).
Age Restrictions
There is no age restriction but unaccompanied children under the age of 14 will not be admitted. Please ensure that all under 14 year olds are accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18. All children must have a ticket. It is not recommended to bring small children to concerts.

The Manchester Evening News Arena is located in the City Centre, on the corner of Trinity Way, Hunts Bank and Great Ducie Street, and is adjacent to Victoria Station.

Directions
The O2 Arena is situated on the south side of the river Thames between Greenwich & Charlton, by Bugsby's Reach on the North Woolwich 'peninsula'. It is adjacent to the Blackwall Tunnel (A102/A12).
The venue is 15 minutes from London City Airport

By Tube
The nearest underground station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line - 3 minutes walk from the venue. The Jubilee line connects to all other underground lines.
By DLR (Docklands Light Railway)
The DLR runs close to the O2 - change at Canary Wharf or Canning Town & take the Jubilee line tube to North Greenwich
By Rail
The Jubilee line tube connects to all rail termini in London either directly or via other tube lines. Local stations Greenwich & Lewisham serving lines from Kent & South London connect to the DLR. Essex, East, & North East London are served by train connections at Stratford & West Ham, which link to the Jubilee tube line. The closest stations to the venue are Maze Hill , Westcombe Park, & Charlton, serving local stations - all are approx 25 minutes on foot from the venue. Charlton is served by buses to the venue.
By River
You can travel by river from Waterloo Pier to the O2 non stop on the Thames Clipper 'O2 Express'. Regular 'Thames Clipper' services also run along the river from Embankment Pier to Woolwich - Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier, stopping at the O2. Check pick up points prices etc on www.thamesclippers.com/home/
By Bus
The venue is well served by buses - there is a bus station at North Greenwich 3 minutes walk from the venue. The following bus routes terminate at the bus station - 129 Greenwich, 161 Chislehurst, 188 Russell Square, 422 Bexleyheath (via Plumstead), 472 Thamesmead, 486 Bexleyheath (via Shooter's Hill). Bus route 108 linking Lewisham to Stratford running through the Blackwall Tunnel stops at North Greenwich Bus Station.
By Bike
Cycle routes pass the venue & there are cycle racks available. Check the London Cycle Network maps www.londoncyclenetwork.org.uk/
By Car
The O2 Arena is easily accessed from the M25 Orbital, A2/A20 from the south east & M11 from the north, follow signs for Blackwall Tunnel A102/A12 & the O2 Arena is clearly signposted.
Car Parking
The O2 will has over 2000 parking spaces, in 4 car parks. You are advised to pre-book your parking on the venue website www.theo2.co.uk/web/guest/parking
